New pizza restaurants St Louis food lovers are excited about include the latest from Fordo’s Killer Pizza, opening July 17 at Urban Chestnut Brewing Company’s Grove Brewery & Bierhall. This second location from chef Gerard Craft brings 18-inch pizzas, slices to go, and inventive small plates to the Grove, following Sugarfire Smoke House’s recent exit from the bierhall.
Luckey, nicknamed “Pizza Heartthrob,” brings his creative touch to a hybrid style blending Neapolitan and New York pizza characteristics. Menu items include popular choices like the Marinara “Joe’s Way,” Margherita, and a new New York Neapolitan option. New salads, starters like charred carrot hummus and charcuterie, and upcoming bar-friendly fare such as wings and meatballs will also be featured.
The collaboration between Niche Food Group and Urban Chestnut builds on a previous burger partnership. It reflects a shared vision of pairing high-quality, flavor-forward food with UCBC’s craft beer offerings. The bierhall will operate daily, from lunch through late night on weekends, and will include pickup and delivery options.
UCBC also announced plans to revive beers from the closed O’Fallon Brewery, beginning with its cult-favorite Pumpkin Beer, as part of its ongoing expansion alongside this culinary partnership.
