Florissant, MO – The Light the Darkness 5K Glow Run will return for its 16th year on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Saint Ferdinand Park. The evening run/walk shines a light on suicide prevention while raising funds for local mental health outreach programs.
The race begins at 7:15 PM CDT, offering both a 5K and a 1-mile course for participants of all ages and abilities. Every registered runner or walker will receive a custom event t-shirt and a finisher’s medal.
Proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the CHADS Coalition for Mental Health, two organizations dedicated to supporting schools and community outreach in the St. Louis region.
Registration is $25 through August 29, 2025, and increases to $30 afterward. To ensure a t-shirt in their preferred size, participants are encouraged to register by August 29. Registration is available online or in person at the JFK Community Center and the James J. Eagan Community Center.
