The Free 4 All STL music showcase is just around the corner, set for September 6–7, 2025, in Grand Center. Featuring more than 100 local artists across nine stages, the two-day festival will showcase the city’s vibrant music scene, with genres ranging from rock and hip-hop to jazz, folk, and experimental sounds.

For music fans, it’s a familiar challenge: with so many acts performing at once, no one can catch them all. The event encourages attendees to map out their weekend—deciding which sets are “can’t miss” and embracing the spontaneity of stumbling upon new favorites.

The Lineup and Festival Atmosphere

This inaugural showcase brings together St. Louis musicians of every style, celebrating the city’s creative energy. Festival-goers will find themselves racing between venues in Lafayette Square, Francis Park, The Hill, and Old Town Florissant, all while enjoying food vendors, community programming, and live commentary.

Free 4 All STL draws inspiration from the old RFT Music Festival days, when fans meticulously planned their weekends, only to have discoveries upend their carefully scheduled plans in the best possible way.

Connection with MATI Festival

The Kranzberg Arts Foundation, which also presents the MATI Festival and Conference (September 12–14), is sponsoring Free 4 All STL by providing venues and artist networking opportunities.

While the two events remain separate, there’s significant overlap. Free 4 All STL performers will receive free passes to MATI’s weekend events, including access to the artist lounge and conference sessions. That means fans and musicians will see plenty of crossover between the two festivals.

How to Plan Your Free 4 All STL Weekend

To help attendees, organizers have shared the full list of performers and schedules on Instagram, along with music clips to preview each act. That makes it easier to decide which artists to prioritize—and which surprises to leave room for.

With 100 artists, nine stages, and two days of nonstop music, the Free 4 All STL music showcase is shaping up to be one of the city’s most exciting cultural weekends of the year.
